Sounds of the Earth – a Didgeridoo Day in New Zealand

Join us for a unique, immersive 3-hour didgeridoo workshop with Didge Mama, held in the beautiful yurt at Earth Sounds, North Island, New Zealand.

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

This workshop is perfect for beginners and those new to the didgeridoo. Instruments will be available for use if you don’t yet have your own — handcrafted by Paul Ockwell.
You’ll be guided through the fundamentals of playing, breath-work, rhythm and Circulair Breathing in a supportive, hands-on environment.

3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (after lunch break)

The advanced workshop is open to players with experience.
The only requirement is circular breathing.
This session focuses on deepening technique, rhythm, breath control, and musical expression.

Whether you’re just starting out or ready to take your playing further, this full day offers rich learning, connection, and inspiration through sound.

The evening closes with an open space to play together and share sound.

Didge Mama has been a professional didgeridoo performer and teacher since 2001. She is world-renowned and deeply respected for her masterful playing and inspiring, embodied teaching style.
